full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified
candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in astronomy; in this
project, a student will develop new methods for measuring astrophysical
magnetic fields, and will then apply these techniques to data from the
Polarisation Sky Survey of the Universe&#8217;s Magnetism (POSSUM); Applicants
must have completed the requirements for a first-class honours degree (or
equivalent) in physics or astrophysics. Skill at oral/written communication,
proficiency in a programming/scripting language, and knowledge/experience of
radio astronomy are all desirable but not essential; $26,669pa; up to three
years with a possible maximum extension of up to twelve months.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

School of Molecular Bioscience invites applications for research support funding
from full-time postdoctoral or postgraduate candidates in the field of Food
Chemistry;&nbsp; the Scholarship encourages research involving the application of
chemical techniques for the study of any aspect of food; applicants must submit
a CV and a research proposal setting out details of the research support sought
and its importance to the applicant's research; the value of the Scholarship

with Honours, be either Australian or New Zealand citizens or Australian
permanent residents, be accepted into a PhD in the area of Meniere's disease;

scholarship is funded by an ARC Discovery Project grant and will provide
support for a research project leading to a PhD; the objective of the research
project is to investigate the biologic and geologic response of the Great
Barrier Reef to sea level and climate changes over the last 30 ka by generating
and linking new observational data with numerical modelling; applicants should
have an Honours 1 or 2A degree (or equivalent) in earth and/or environmental
science. Experience/background in carbonate sedimentology, coral reef biology
and geology and/or numerical modelling of earth systems would be an advantage;
