Research Scholarships

Postgraduate Scholarship in Complex Social Systems
A scholarship is available in the field of Complex Social Systems; the project models healthcare coordination as a complex social system by using complex systems and social network theories; applicants must have completed a research degree (e.g. Undergraduate honours 1st class) or have completed a substantial research component as part of their undergraduate or postgraduate degree and is open to both international and local students; $23,728pa; up to one year.
Closing Date:  30 June 2012

CUDOS Postgraduate Scholarship
A PhD scholarship is available with the CUDOS group of the School of Physics; applicants must identify a primary supervisor and associate supervisor from the School of Physics, both of whom are prepared to supervise the student; $23,728pa; up to three years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Complex Civil Systems
A scholarship is available in the field of Complex Civil Systems; the project is the systems modelling and instrumenting of socio-info-techno systems applied in the health sector to enable improved decision making and taking; applicants should have suitable research experience, demonstrable publication record, and a particular interest in the complex networks and is open to both international and local students; $23,728pa; up to three years.

Arthritis Australia Research Scholarships
For young medical and science graduates to undertake a postgraduate research degree in arthritis and related disorders at recognised universities; 1 or possibly 2 scholarships will be offered for 2013; applicants should be clinical, scientific, or allied health professionals who are Australian citizens or permanent residents; up to 3 years.
