Research Scholarships

Postgraduate Scholarship in Magnetic Resonance Imaging
A scholarship is available in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging; the project is to investigate the use of diffusion-weighted MRI methods for improvement of the management of breast and prostate cancer; applicants should have knowledge/skills/experience in applied physics, medical imaging, or image processing and be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; $23,728pa; up to 3 years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Sutton Arthritis Research Laboratory, Kolling Institute of Medical Research, Sydney Medical School
A scholarship is available in the field of Arthritis Research; the project is to investigate Pharmacokinetic and Pharmacodynamic properties of activated protein C (APC) after site specific PEGylation; applicants must have experience in PEGylation of molecules and have commercial experience using animal models of arthritis and be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; $31,000pa; up to three years.

PhD Scholarships on Electoral Integrity
A scholarship is available in the field of Electoral Integrity; the project will be conducting research for the electoral integrity project; a first class honours bachelor degree from an Australian University or a Masters degree or equivalent) in Political Science or a relevant related field is required; $27,222pa; up to 3 years.

The Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation Research Scholarships for 2013
The Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation is offering scholarships in the field of Otorhinolaryngology or the related fields of biomedical science;  individuals who are either medically qualified or science graduates, and who are, or will be, enrolled for a higher university degree, are eligible to apply; NHMRC rate; up to 3 years.

The Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Scholarships in Law
The Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Trust is offering to Australians a post-graduate scholarship in law for tenure at universities in the United Kingdom commencing October 2013; applicants must be Australian citizens, have been resident in Australia for at least five of the last ten years, and be available for interview in Australia at the time of selection in mid-October 2012 and have at least an Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Law, normally from an Australian University; includes return airfares and substantial emoluments; up to one year.
