Research Scholarships
Australian Pain Society and Australian Pain Relief Association PhD
Scholarship
The Australian Pain Society (APS) and Australian Pain Relief Association
(APRA) offer a PhD scholarship for a project related to any aspect of
the mechanisms, diagnosis or treatment of acute or chronic pain; the
applicant and his/her supervisor must be members of the APS, applicants
must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and have Honours 1 or
a Masters degree or equivalent; $23,000pa; up to 3 years.
Closing Date: 24 October 2011
Sidney Myer Health Scholarship
The aim of these Scholarships is to enhance the career development of
allied and Public Health, medical, bio-medical science and nursing
professionals and address community and population health issues in
local and regional communities across Australia; applicants must have
Honours 1 or a Masters degree in a relevant area; up to $38,100pa; up to
three years.
Closing Date: 10 October 2011
Overseas Scholarships
The Near Eastern Archaeology Foundation
The Near Eastern Archaeology Foundation (NEAF) offers several grants to
assist postgraduate students to undertake research overseas, to pursue
research in the archaeology of Egypt, Cyprus, or Western Asia; valued
from $1,500 to $5,000.
Closing Date: 14 October 2011
The Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships to Harvard University 2012
Frank Knox Fellowships are available to enable up to three (3) students
from Australia to undertake postgraduate study in any field at Harvard
University in the US academic year 2012-2013; valued at up to US$25,000
plus tuition fees and health insurance: applicants must be Australian
citizens.
Closing Date: 9 November 2011
