Arrow- Hawkesbury Canoe Classic PhD Scholarship
A supplementary biomedical research scholarship is available for students commencing an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or comparable competitive postgraduate scholarship in 2012 in the area of leukaemia and/or stem cell therapy; $11,601 per annum for up to 3 years.

CFD modelling and experimental study on Rheology of Sclerosant Foam in In-vitro PhD Scholarship
A PhD Scholarship is available for students who majored in mechanical Engineering, specifically in the field of Thermofluid, to study foam flow behaviour near the Sapherofemoral Junction (SJV) through computation and experiments. Applicants must be an Australian citizen OR Australian Permanent Resident and enrolled in a MPhil in Mechanical Engineering degree at The University of Sydney; $18,000 per annum for one year.

Postgraduate Scholarship in the Social Aspects of Infection Risk and Control
A three year National Health & Medical Research (NHMRC) PhD scholarship is available to applicants experienced in the field of Infectious Diseases and interested in qualitative research into participants' concepts of the risks, and appropriate reactions to, hospital-acquired infections; $23,780 per annum for up to three years.

Sydney Medical School Foundation/Meniere's Research Fund Scholarship
A PhD scholarship is available for qualified students interested in researching Meniere 's disease and currently enrolled in full-time study within Sydney Medical School. Applicants can be both Australian residents and International students, though funding does not cover tuition fees payable by international students; $33,000 per annum for one year initially.
