Open call for Hendra virus research funding

The Queensland, New South Wales and Australian governments have launched a $2 million Open Funding Program for research leading to strategies to minimise the impact of Hendra virus.

Scientists, academics and universities within Australia and overseas are invited to submit preliminary research proposals to the National Hendra Virus Research Program.

Preliminary research proposals should align to one of three Hendra virus research priorities that are highlighted on the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation website, http://www.rirdc.gov.au/RIRDC/index.cfm?CDD9C96F-D2C4-56FC-D6C9-6FD585228541 .

Preliminary research proposals are to be submitted online via Clarity, follow the above link for more information about setting up a secure account before submitting a proposal.
