LIEF - IMPORTANT REMINDER

 

ARC Linkage Infrastructure Equipment & Facilities (LIEF)  - EXPRESSIONS
OF INTEREST - FOR FUNDNG IN 2011

Are you intending to apply for a grant led by the University of Sydney
OR participate in an application led by another University in the ARC
LIEF round closing in May 2010? 

 

LIEF supports the purchase of major items of equipment and
infrastructure with a total value over $133K. The ARC fund up to 75% of
the total cost (USyd recommends 65%), the balance is covered by USyd and
the collaborating institutions. The USyd contribution is made up of DVCR
- 50%, Faculty - 25%, School - 25%.

 

The Expression of Interest process will conclude much earlier than usual
- closing on January 29th  2010 - to enable more strategic University
wide preparation of applications in the next round. 

 

In writing your EoI it will be essential to - clearly explain the NEED
for the Equipment/Infrastructure/Facility.

 
- include indicative figures for the total cost of equipment, request to
ARC and total cost for USyd.
