[Usyd-research-announce] Special Bulletin: ARC Discovery applicants

Dear colleagues,

 

I am writing to everyone submitting an ARC Discovery application in the
current round. Please note the following advice regarding final
submission to the Research Office.

 

If you have not yet submitted anything to the RO:

* If you would like us to check your application for
eligibility/compliance you must submit a complete final version (three
identical hard copies) by Wed 25 Feb or preferably earlier. Otherwise we
may have to send your application to Canberra without checking. 

* If you are still working with Merrilee, Margaret or Tony on sections
B10 and E, please submit a complete version of everything else (GAMS,
C2/3, D2) ASAP. Final text sections can be added later.

* NOTE: from Mon 23 Feb we will be checking applications at RO reception
when you drop them off. You can then take away a marked up copy with any
final corrections and return to us a complete final version hopefully
within 24-48 hours. 

 

If you have already submitted a draft application to the RO and have
received feedback:

* please submit a complete final version (three identical hard copies,
plus Local Submit in GAMS) as soon as you can, preferably by Mon 23 Feb.
We will do one final check and contact you if there are any fixes
required. This gives you time to finalise by Wed 25 Feb. 

* if you are yet to receive feedback, this should be coming to you
shortly. Feel free to contact your designated RO checker at any time or
contact Gemma on 86278111 or g.shilton at usyd.edu.au

 

If you are not proceeding pls delete your application in GAMS. Any probs
let me know ASAP.

 

FYI - we have 386 ARC DP applications currently in GAMS. NHMRC project
grant checking has now commenced and we expect >400 applications this
round.
