[Usyd-research-announce] Special Research Office Bulletin - Visiting Medical Editors

[Research Grants]

We are being visited by 3 international medical editors in the week
beginning 9 April:

 

Mr Tony Delamothe (Web Editor, British Medical Journal (BMJ)) will be
giving a talk on - "The future of scientific publishing" on Wednesday
11th April at 10 am in the Norman Gregg Lecture Theatre, Edward Ford

Mr Delamothe will also be giving a public lecture as part of the
Milestones lecture series on computers (changing the way we learn) on
Tuesday 10th April at 6 pm in the Eastern Avenue Lecture Theatre.

Mr Jeff Drazen (Editor New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM)) will give
a

talk on "How to get published in the NEJM" on Wednesday 11th April from
3-4 pm at Westmead Lecture Theatre.  

Address: Education Block, Westmead Hospital (visitors should go to the
Foyer at Westmead Millennium Institute for directions)

 

For the diary - Mr Richard Horton (Editor, Lancet) will be visiting The
George Institute of International Health and details of his talk will be
notified as soon it becomes available.
