APPLYING FOR A NHMRC CAREER DEVELOPMENT AWARD?
These awards are for full time research for emerging independent

applications for funding commencing in 2008.
Monday 12th March 2007 - Time: 2-3 pm - Venue - Pharmacy Common Room,
Pharmacy Building A15, Science Road, The University of Sydney
Who is eligible and Writing a Career Development Award
The focus of this seminar will be to firstly outline the changes to
eligibility which have taken place this year and then to obtain an
overview of how to structure your application to your audience i.e. the
panel and getting the message across. Professor Carol Armour, the
Research Office and Mr Tim Haydon, external consultant with experience
in scientific writing, will address this seminar with emphasis on
practical suggestions on grant writing.
