ARC Linkage-Projects 2004 (Round 1)

ARC Funding Rules and Instructions are available at

Instructions for University of Sydney applicants for ARC Linkage-Projects 
(Round 1) for funding to commence in January 2005 will soon be available 
at: http://www.usyd.edu.au/su/reschols/welcome.html
The internal closing date for applications is 16th April 2004.
If you require a GAMS ID please email research at reschols.usyd.edu.au 
providing your name, title and date of birth.

ARC Linkage-Projects 2004 (Round 1) Eligibility Exemption: Due in the 
Research Office by 23rd March 2004.

If a University of Sydney applicant for ARC Linkage-Projects 2004 (Round 1) 
requires one or more of the following eligibility exemptions:
    * Potential APDI fellow eligibility- eg. awarded PhD more than 3 years 
ago, career interruption/changes etc
    * Potential CI or APDI fellow - with financial interests in, or a 
position with, their potential industry partner
    * Waiver of requirements re minimum cash contribution by industry partner
a written request justifying the applicant's special circumstances for an 
eligibility exemption must be submitted to the Research Office by the 23rd 
March 2004. Please forward to:

ARC/NHMRC overlap: If you are unsure whether your application is more 
appropriately considered by the ARC or the NHMRC, you should forward a 
two-page summary outlining your proposal to the Research Office by 23rd 
March 2004. A committee of ARC & NHMRC representatives will consider your 
proposal and advise of the decision within about two weeks.
