ARC / NHMRC INFORMATION

CHANGE TO ARC WEB SITE
The ARC has now reformatted its web site into a more user friendly version. 
The new address is: http://www.arc.gov.au/arc_home/default.htm. It is 
possible that information sent out by the Research Office prior to the 
implementation of these changes (eg, DP instructions, LIEF instructions, 
etc) may contain old URLs. If you are unable to map to the new URL you 
should ring Kathleen Howard on 02 9351 4469 who will assist in the translation.

NHMRC EQUIPMENT GRANTS 2002/2003
Applications are now invited for NHMRC Equipment Grants.  Funding is 
available for the cost of equipment that may have been purchased in 2002 or 
is planned in 2003.

LINKAGE - INFRASTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES (LIEF) SCHEME
2003 FOR 2004 FUNDING
Applications for the Linkage - Infrastructure Scheme Equipment and 
Facilities (LIEF) for 2004 funding are now open.
Application Forms and Guidelines are available on the ARC web site at:

As in previous years, applications have to be entered in GAMS. Your GAMS ID

birth with your request.

THE EMBASSY OF GREECE: THE STATE SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION (IKY) FOR 2003  2004
The Embassy of Greece is granting scholarships for postdoctoral research 
studies to foreign nationals wishing to carry out postdoctoral studies in 
Greece for the academic year 2003  2004. The scholarships are for periods 
of six months up to one year.

RESEARCH GRANTS
THE CLIVE AND VERA RAMACIOTTI FOUNDATION MAJOR INITIATIVE FOR BIOMEDICAL 
RESEARCH IN NSW  CALLS FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
As part of the Ramaciotti Awards, Perpetual, the Trustee of the Clive and
Vera Ramaciotti Foundation (NSW) has allocated a sum of $1,000,000 from the
Foundation to be applied for a single major initiative in biomedical 
research in New South Wales.
