Dear Junior Science teachers
Welcome back to Term 4
Looking for something different for you Science Teaching
The Additional Resources section of the UniServe
Science Schools web site contains web pages that
cross the content boundaries of the curriculum
and provide resources to help teachers implement
new dimensions in their teaching programs. It
can be found at http://science.uniserve.edu.au/school/addres/index.html.
You will find pages on:
Classroom Technologies such as Interactive Whiteboards & Data Loggers
Web-based activities such as WebQuests, Web Sheets & EarthQuests
Enrichment materials such as Movies in the
Science Classroom and Multimedia rich sites
The latest additional to the Additional Resources
is a page on Working with Real
Data. http://science.uniserve.edu.au/school/realdata/index.html
This page has links to online projects that use
real data. There are also links to NSW
Australian and world wide data on science topics
such as the environment, health, climate, disasters and energy usage.
This is definitely a page under construction and
more data will be added as it becomes available.
