[ITL-CAD] Conference on Preparing for Academic Practice

I hope people don't mind the use of the CAD list to publicise a conference, but we think and hope it will be of interest to many of  you.

The Centre for Excellence in Preparing for Academic Practice (University of Oxford) is hosting a second international conference, this time exploring disciplinary perspectives on the preparation of doctoral students and postdocs for working lives as academics.

It will be on 8-9 April, 2008, in Oxford.

Themes: (A) Disciplinary focused research; (B) Evaluation of disciplinary-based practices

Proposals invited from disciplinary academics, higher education researchers, academic developers
