Dear Friends and Colleagues,
You are invited for the seminar  entitled “Shifting Sands: UNRWA and Palestine Refugees in a Changing Middle East” to be held tomorrow Tuesday 29/5/12 at 6 pm in CPACS Seminar Room 107,  Mackie Building, Arundel St.

The speaker is Filippo Grandi Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine refugees. Mr Grandi, is an Italian national born in 1957 who has been engaged in refugee and humanitarian work for the past 26 years, 22 of which have been with the United Nations.
The seminar is a joint venture between the UN Information Centre, the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, and the Sydney Peace Foundation. Dr Arthur Chesterfield-Evans, the new Executive Director of the Sydney Peace Foundation will chair the meeting and Commissioner-General Grandi will be introduced by Abe Quaran, who was a Palestinian refugee.
