The Sydney Development Circle (SDC) is a mentoring and networking group open to anyone interested in international aid and community development at the local, regional and global levels.



On Monday 2 April the Sydney Development Circle (SDC) invites you to join us for a discussion onRe-building Civil Society in Conflict-Affected Developing Countries. Former CEO of ActionAid Major General Michael Smith OA will draw on his personal experiences and discuss the 3D approach (Defence, Diplomacy and Development) to rebuilding civil society in harshly affected developing countries such as Papua New Guinea, Cambodia, East Timor and the Palestinian Territories.
