 Linking Learning Sciences Communities across the World – an ISLS Membership Committee Sponsored Symposium at ICLS 2012

The ISLS Membership Committee is inviting contributions to the above symposium.

Objective:
The goal of organizing this symposium is to provide an opportunity for ISLS members to learn more about Learning Sciences related research in different countries around the world, particularly from countries outside of North American and Western Europe, and to explore ways in which ISLS can contribute to enriching the field of Learning Sciences through expanding the international representation of its membership.

Call for Proposals:
Proposals are invited to introduce the key Learning Science related organizations and research agendas being pursued in a country or region. Proposals should also discuss ideas about how to build/strengthen the Learning Sciences related research community in the country/region with ISLS. Each proposal should be no more than 1200 words. The deadline for submission of proposals is March 1, 2012.

Proposal Submission:
Proposals should be sent to Baohui Zhang, coordinator of this symposium, at baohui.zhang at nju.edu.cn<mailto:baohui.zhang at nju.edu.cn>. Final decision of acceptance will be sent out by March 20, 2012.
